Qualified Motor Technician – Audi Dealership

About the role

Joe Duffy Group is seeking qualified motor technicians to join its Audi‑approved dealership in Drogheda, Co Louth. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and servicing Audi vehicles to the highest standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to identify and rectify vehicle faults.
• Communicate with customers to understand reported problems and provide clear explanations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest Audi technology, including electric, hybrid, high‑voltage and ICE systems.
• Perform repairs, servicing and road‑testing in line with Audi work specifications and safety standards.
• Complete service documentation, job sheets and warranty paperwork as required.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping, tools and personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Required profile

• Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence.
• Eligibility to work full‑time hours in the EU.
• Dynamic, ambitious and driven with a passion for automotive technology.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.

Required skills

• Vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of hybrid vehicle systems.
• Understanding of high‑voltage systems.
• Maintenance of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
