Senior Associate – Tax

About the role

William Fry LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join its tax team. You will work within a multi‑disciplinary group of lawyers, accountants and consultants, providing pragmatic and technically robust tax advice to a blue‑chip client base across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advice on complex transactions and ongoing client queries.
• Prepare and review tax filings, compliance documentation and advisory reports.
• Collaborate with lawyers and accountants to develop integrated solutions for clients.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of domestic and international tax legislation.
• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• CTA qualification (or equivalent) with an excellent academic record.
• Professional qualification such as accountant or solicitor is desirable.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a large firm.
• Strong analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills.
• Commercially‑focused, solution‑oriented approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a hybrid team.
