Support Pharmacist – Part‑time (2‑3 days/week) in Portarlington

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Pharmacist to join our community‑focused pharmacy group in Portarlington on a 2‑3 days per week basis. The role offers a collaborative environment where you will help deliver excellent customer care while developing your professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support the supervising pharmacist in managing staff, stock, sales and housekeeping.
• Oversee dispensary tasks and ensure compliance with PSI legislation and dispensing practices.
• Assist dispensary staff and colleagues across the branch as needed.
• Mentor less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Customer‑focused, courteous and compassionate.
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organised with solid administrative abilities.
• Flexible to work some Saturdays and able to handle pressure during busy periods.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing procedures and PSI regulations.
