Accommodation Assistant – Boutique Hotel

About the role

The Accommodation Assistant will support the housekeeping team at the Fitzwilton Hotel, a 90‑room boutique property in Waterford. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas while delivering excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
• Inspect and clean guest accommodation and public areas according to standard operating procedures.
• Follow directions from the accommodation management team and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Help plan, organise and control the daily workload of accommodation assistants.
• Attend meetings and briefings as requested by management.
• Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexible availability for varied days and hours.
• Customer‑focused attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Good time‑management and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
