Civil Site Manager – Large Industrial Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to lead the groundworks and civil works package on a new large‑scale industrial development in South Kildare. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of deep drainage, site development, utilities and related works.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Project Manager and ensure strict compliance with HSQE standards.
• Review work packages, verify permits and information required for safe execution.
• Manage daily supervision, allocation and reporting of labour, plant and material resources.
• Conduct post‑construction surveys and compile accurate as‑built records.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, the public and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong groundworks background; civil engineering qualification desirable but not mandatory.
• Supervisory experience on large civils projects.
• Training in underground services location, signing, lighting and guarding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Full driving licence.
