Civil Site Manager / Project Manager – Millstreet

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Project Manager to lead a civil engineering project in Millstreet, County Cork. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and quality for a high‑profile client.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all day‑to‑day site operations, including bulk excavation, groundworks, retaining walls, kerbing, tarmac works, fencing and new car‑park construction.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they meet programme and quality targets.
• Liaise directly with the client and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor the programme, track progress and report on site performance.
• Organise labour, plant and materials and maintain accurate site records.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager on civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in groundworks and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Full driving licence.
