Civils Site Manager – Heavy Civils & Groundworks

About the role

The successful candidate will join a Tier 1 construction contractor as a Civils Site Manager on a large‑scale residential development in South Dublin. Reporting to the project team, you will be responsible for delivering the heavy civils and groundworks package while ensuring safety, quality and programme targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the heavy civils and groundworks activities across the site.
• Manage subcontractors and on‑site teams, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
• Monitor progress against the programme and take corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
• Control quality of works and ensure all deliverables meet contractual specifications.
• Collaborate with the wider project team, architects and engineers to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably on residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Proven track record managing heavy civils and groundworks packages.
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong focus on health & safety, quality assurance and programme delivery.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
