Construction Quality Inspector – up to €70k – Swords

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Quality Inspector to join our client’s head office in Swords and travel to construction sites across Dublin. You will play a key part in ensuring that residential and civil projects meet the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Identify defects, record findings and produce clear quality reports.
• Ensure all work adheres to building regulations, project specifications and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor workmanship and materials throughout each construction stage.
• Follow up on outstanding defects to guarantee timely completion.
• Support project handover by confirming that all quality criteria are satisfied.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar quality inspection role within civil or residential construction.
• Background in civil or residential engineering.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and health‑and‑safety standards.
