DevOps Engineer – Financial Services, CI/CD, AWS, Jenkins, DataDog

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Equity Technology team of a leading financial services organisation in Galway. The role focuses on automation, cloud adoption and building scalable DevOps solutions in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
• Support the organisation’s AWS cloud engineering strategy and drive cloud adoption initiatives.
• Create and maintain performance testing scripts, frameworks and automation solutions.
• Develop dashboards and monitoring solutions with DataDog to improve operational visibility.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and business stakeholders in an Agile environment to promote best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with Jenkins and other DevOps automation tools.
• Solid experience with Amazon Web Services; AWS certifications are a plus.
• Experience with software configuration management, test automation, version control and deployment tools.
• Understanding of infrastructure, system and security configurations.
