Field Service Technician – Renewable Energy

About the role

Join Ashgrove Renewables as a Field Service Technician and play a key part in delivering high‑performance renewable energy solutions across Munster. You will work independently on‑site, diagnosing, commissioning and maintaining heat‑pump installations while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, fault‑find, service, maintain, repair, calibrate and validate heat‑pump and related renewable energy products.
• Conduct post‑installation inspections and sign‑offs.
• Perform routine maintenance on heat‑pump systems.
• Provide phone and on‑site troubleshooting support.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Methodical problem‑solver with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised and able to manage own schedule.
• Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment.
• Excellent communicator, able to liaise with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Mechanical systems knowledge.
• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Plumbing background.
• Heat‑pump technology expertise.
• Renewable energy systems familiarity.
• Experience with CRM or field‑service management software.
