Food & Beverage Assistant – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants to join our full-time team at the Talbot Hotel Cork. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to our guests across our dining outlets, working flexible mid-week and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, high-quality service to guests in all food and beverage areas.
• Ensure efficient service delivery throughout the dining experience, maintaining 4-star standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Communicate menu items confidently, both food and drinks.
• Dispense and serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate positively with kitchen staff, management and colleagues.
• Uphold uniform, personal hygiene and grooming standards in line with the hotel’s 4-star brand.

Required profile

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Availability to work mid-week and weekends.
• Passion for customer service and a flexible attitude towards shift patterns.

Required skills

• Strong communication skills for menu presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
