Full‑time Reservations Agent (Hotel)

About the role

The Tower Hotel in Waterford is seeking a full‑time Reservations Agent to join its front‑office team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, corporate clients and travel partners, ensuring a seamless booking experience and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and emails from prospective guests, corporate clients, tour operators and travel agents in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Handle the hotel telephone according to company standards and anticipate guest needs to exceed expectations.
• Complete daily departmental checklists and input all group rooming lists.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments.
• Convert enquiries into sales and forward new business leads to the Sales team.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive “can‑do” attitude.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Minimum six months experience in reservations or reception.
• Strong customer‑care skills with the ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Flexible availability for mid‑week and weekend shift work.
• Eligibility to live and work in Ireland full‑time.

Required skills

• Experience with the Hotsoft Office System (desirable).
