General Operative – Civil Construction (Nationwide)

About the role

Murphy is seeking experienced General Operatives to support a range of civil construction projects across Ireland. The role involves working on site, maintaining high health‑and‑safety standards and contributing to daily, weekly and monthly targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of health and safety, including proper use of PPE.
• Follow work instructions, procedures and site-specific guidelines.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly productivity targets.
• Keep the work site clean, organised and safe for all personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in civil construction or related trades (desirable).
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
