Haematology Registrar – July 2026 Start

About the role
This 12‑month registrar training programme in haematology begins on 13 July 2026. It offers comprehensive exposure to malignant and general haematology, venous thromboembolism (VTE) care, and maternal haematology within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Rotate through malignant haematology, general haematology, VTE, and maternal haematology services.
- Participate in structured, curriculum‑based lectures and journal clubs.
- Critically appraise scientific literature and apply biostatistical knowledge to interpret study findings.
- Engage in international clinical trials and collaborative research projects.
- Produce at least one peer‑reviewed publication and present at international conferences.
Required profile
- MRCP or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Irish, UK, or EU citizenship, or valid visa permitting work in Ireland.
- Commitment to a full‑time, 12‑month contract starting 13 July 2026.
Required skills
- Biostatistical knowledge for literature appraisal.
- Ability to critically evaluate scientific publications.
