Health & Safety Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Health & Safety Officer for a leading residential developer delivering high‑quality projects across Dublin. The successful candidate will support the delivery of safe, compliant and high‑quality construction sites, working closely with site teams, subcontractors and management.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Support the preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
• Deliver inductions and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a positive safety culture.
• Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to ensure ongoing safety standards.

Required profile

• Relevant health & safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent).
• Degree in health & safety or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years construction health & safety experience.
• Experience on residential or large‑scale projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
