Laundry Assistant – 5‑Star Hotel

About the role

Join the Laundry team at the exclusive 5‑star Lyrath Estate Hotel and play a key part in maintaining the high standards of presentation and cleanliness expected in a luxury property. The role requires full flexibility, covering a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, fold and store linen, towels, uniforms and guest laundry.
• Wash, dry and press hotel linen and guest clothing using industrial equipment.
• Operate industrial washing machines, dryers and pressing machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Collaborate closely with the laundry team to ensure timely processing.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability for manual handling duties.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial washing machines, dryers and pressing machines.
