Project Director – Europe (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale construction contracts across Europe, based in Dublin. Reporting to the Regional Director/BU MD, you will own the end‑to‑end management of projects typically valued above £60 million, from tender through to successful handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the tender team (Estimator, CM, QS, consultants) and ensure competitive, compliant bids.
• Develop the Project Execution Plan (PEP), procurement strategy and risk register.
• Oversee site start‑up, health‑safety & environmental plans, and site logistics.
• Manage subcontractors, monitor progress against the programme, and control cost, risk and quality.
• Coordinate design strategy including BIM and DRM, and ensure statutory compliance.
• Chair internal and subcontractor meetings, and drive commercial success.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership on complex construction projects >£60 m.
• Experience from tender stage through construction delivery.
• Strong commercial acumen and risk‑management capability.
• Ability to build and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
