Project Management Methodology Specialist (12-Month Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Management Methodology (PMM) Specialist on a 12‑month contract to support a major national infrastructure programme in Ireland. The role will work closely with programme and project managers to embed best‑practice governance, planning and delivery standards across a complex portfolio of construction and utility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the organisation’s Project Management Methodology and ensure consistent application across multiple programmes.
• Facilitate project workshops, including WBS development, risk management, stakeholder engagement and lessons‑learned sessions.
• Coach and mentor project managers and teams on PMM processes, tools and templates.
• Support the rollout and adoption of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and related reporting tools.
• Capture feedback and drive continuous improvement of project management practices.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to project delivery assurance.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of project management or PMO experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, engineering or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of project governance and methodology implementation.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Full Irish/EU/EEA driving licence with willingness to travel nationwide.
• Degree in Engineering, IT, Data or related discipline; PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
