Project Manager – Energy Infrastructure (Ireland)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large, technically complex energy infrastructure project in Ireland. The role covers the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover, requiring strong leadership of multidisciplinary civil, electrical and mechanical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project performance across safety, quality, programme and cost.
• Lead site teams, engineers, subcontractors and supply‑chain partners, acting as the main interface with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage major civil works, electrical installations and mechanical plant systems, ensuring seamless integration of all scopes.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and system integration, coordinating subcontractors to meet delivery timelines.
• Control project budget, commercial performance, subcontract procurement, valuations and variations.
• Develop and maintain the project programme, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and environmental standards and provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Construction Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong experience managing multidisciplinary construction (civils, M&E).
• Demonstrated commercial awareness, including budget and subcontractor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision‑making skills.
• Full driving licence.
