Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects (Ireland)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects across Ireland for a Tier 1 main contractor. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of on‑shore wind farms, solar developments, battery energy storage systems, substations and related civil works from construction through handover.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and overall performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, commercial, procurement and site operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, utility providers and key stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, programme milestones and quality standards.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and clients.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement strategies, subcontractor management and commercial decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in renewable energy, power, utilities or major civil engineering projects.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
