Project Manager – Water Industry Products

About the role

The Project Manager will lead planning, coordination, design development, quality assurance and delivery of chemical dosing rigs, mechanical settlement tank scrapers and other water‑industry products. Reporting to the Team Lead, the role involves managing own projects and potentially overseeing project engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Team Lead and project engineers to deliver water and wastewater treatment projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate site, workshop and office personnel to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Conduct site visits to plan, monitor and close out project activities.
• Maintain client liaison for project planning, change communication and contract management.
• Mentor and develop project engineers and graduate engineers.
• Ensure HSQE documentation is current, organise technical meetings and keep project files up to date.
• Enforce safe work practices, report incidents and liaise with internal and external safety auditors.
• Maintain project margins in line with tender targets and coordinate financial elements of delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing water‑industry or similar engineering projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Leadership capability to mentor junior engineers and guide project teams.
• Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor project finances and ensure profitability.
