Quality Control Advisor

About the role

The Quality Control Advisor will strengthen employees’ practical understanding of Reach Active’s operating framework and support continuous improvement in quality management across construction and utility projects throughout Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and embed the company’s operational and quality framework within project teams.
• Support teams in improving digital record‑keeping, documentation and compliance practices.
• Promote a “get it right first time” ethos to reduce rework, recalls and defects.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and coaching to enhance quality behaviours and standards.
• Conduct internal audits in line with ISO standards and produce clear audit reports.
• Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure consistent quality performance.
• Visit construction and utility sites across Ireland to observe and support practical application of quality controls and safe working practices.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, including root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and related documentation.
• Proven ability to deliver training, mentoring and coaching.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Practical operational experience in the construction and utilities sector.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• IRCA‑trained Internal Auditor (or progressing towards certification).
• Experience applying ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Audit techniques and industry regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other IT software.
