About the role
The position is a full‑time temporary registrar role in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department, starting immediately and running until 10 January 2027. The registrar will work under senior consultants, providing patient care and supporting the clinical team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties in obstetrics and gynecology at a satisfactory level of competence.
- Work as part of the multidisciplinary team, adhering to health, safety and risk‑management policies.
- Contribute to departmental research and audit activities as required.
Required profile
- Medical practitioner fully registered (non‑provisional) on the General Register of Medical Practitioners.
- Minimum three years of post‑qualification experience, including at least two years of acceptable hospital experience.
- Understanding of the role of an Assistant Master/Registrar.
- Awareness of health, safety and risk‑management principles.
