Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract administration for a major infrastructure portfolio in Dublin. You will work closely with procurement and legal teams to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme directors in engaging contractors and consultants according to procurement strategies.
• Administer work orders from award through completion, including takeover and final assessment.
• Review and approve subcontractor documentation, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance against KPIs and assist in dispute resolution.
• Align contract management with standards and NEC suite requirements.
• Report non‑compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead contractual negotiations and guide project managers and programme directors.
• Review draft contracts, coordinate inputs from legal, technical and financial advisors.
• Calculate delay damages when required.
• Develop and approve contract management strategies at programme and contract level.
• Set KPI targets within incentive schedules and review contractor performance.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in contract/cost management and administration.
• At least 7 years working with NEC contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contractor and consultant performance monitoring.
• Significant experience in claims management and dispute resolution.
• Proven ability to establish performance management frameworks and KPI libraries.
• Expertise in administering the NEC suite of contracts.
• Experience developing and implementing contract management strategies.
