Senior Engineer – School Project (North Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a high‑profile school project in North Dublin. The role involves delivering quality civil works, coordinating on‑site activities and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set out and supervise building works using GPS, total stations and other surveying equipment.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site activities, including site surveying and general civil engineering tasks.
• Check technical designs and drawings to confirm correct implementation.
• Assist procurement and commercial teams with documentation and reporting.
• Complete SHEQ forms, track site records and submit labour and plant returns.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or recent graduate).
• Minimum three years recent experience on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven ability to operate setting‑out equipment such as GPS and total stations.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
