Senior Façade Lead – Major Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Façade Lead to own the external envelope package on large‑scale construction projects across Dublin and Kildare. You will be the central point for all façade activities from pre‑construction through handover, ensuring quality, innovation and programme adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of curtain walling, cladding, glazing and overall external envelope packages.
• Coordinate interfaces between façade works and adjoining trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Manage design information, technical submissions and approval processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive procurement schedules, monitor long‑lead items and maintain programme milestones.
• Oversee mock‑ups, inspections, testing regimes and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Use digital construction tools and field‑management platforms to track inspections, quality checks and issue resolution.
• Manage defect close‑out and support smooth project handovers.
• Assess scope changes and assist with commercial management of variations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering façade or building‑envelope packages on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of cladding systems, glazing and curtain‑walling.
• Excellent coordination and subcontractor‑management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain programme objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant construction, engineering or trade qualification preferred.
• Proactive communication and problem‑solving skills.
