Senior Project Manager

About the role

Lawler Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a variety of mechanical and electrical building services projects across Ireland and internationally. The role involves overseeing multiple sites, coordinating with design and client teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical and electrical installations on multiple construction sites.
• Coordinate daily with clients, design teams, contractors, PSDP and PSCS to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure drawings, specifications, and technical sub‑mittals are up‑to‑date and communicated promptly.
• Prepare and review M&E inspection plans, method statements, and health‑and‑safety documentation.
• Monitor site progress, attend weekly site and coordination meetings, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Liaise with utility providers (ESB, gas, telecoms) for service alterations and connections.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (Level 6 Advanced Craft Certification or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience managing building services installations.
• Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, Irish Electrical Regulations and relevant British Standards.
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to handle several sites concurrently and deliver projects on schedule and budget.
