Site Agent – Construction Project Management

About the role

The Site Agent will lead the on‑site delivery of a large‑scale modular construction project in Cluny, Co. Sligo. Reporting to the Senior Site Agent, you will ensure the work is carried out safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards while supervising the site team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Lead and mentor supervisory staff, coordinating site meetings, briefings and whiteboard sessions.
• Monitor progress against the project programme, driving weekly targets and milestones.
• Oversee site set‑up, facilities preparation and maintain all site records such as daily diaries and temporary works registers.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, resolving issues that affect programme, cost, safety or quality.
• Escalate risks to senior management and support commercial and project teams with site requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing medium to large construction projects.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, capable of supervising multi‑level site teams.
• Knowledge of industrial relations and subcontractor management.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve operational challenges.
