About the role
We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our civil contracting team on a setting‑out project in County Clare, Ireland. The role involves accurate surveying, coordination of site activities and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out precise setting‑out and surveying tasks on‑site.
- Maintain high health, safety and permit standards.
- Provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
- Order materials and coordinate site activities.
- Review drawings and calculations for accuracy.
- Supervise setting‑out, levelling and surveying works.
- Use AutoCAD to verify site dimensions and drawings.
- Liaise with subcontractors and site management teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in setting‑out on construction sites.
- Experience on high‑value projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- AutoCAD.
- Use of total station surveying instruments.
- GPS surveying equipment.
What we offer
- Competitive salary €55,000‑€65,000 per year.
