Site Engineer – Wastewater Treatment Plant (Ringsend, Dublin)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major wastewater treatment plant project in Ringsend, Dublin. Reporting to the Site Agent and Project Manager, you will help deliver civil engineering works safely, to specification and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Set out and survey works using GPS and Total Station equipment.
• Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Support the construction of reinforced concrete structures, underground services, drainage and utility infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate site records, as‑built drawings and quality documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews to achieve efficient delivery.
• Carry out inspections and quality checks in line with QA procedures.
• Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments and permits.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior site management.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements on site.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Site Engineer on civil, utilities, water, wastewater or reinforced‑concrete projects.
• Strong setting‑out and surveying abilities.
• Proficient at interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence, valid Safe Pass and relevant tickets/certifications.
