Site Manager – Commercial Construction (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on our commercial construction sites in South Dublin. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects and engineers for smooth execution.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Resolve on‑site issues and conflicts promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control.
• Maintain site documentation such as contracts, permits and safety records.
• Lead and motivate the site team to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• A degree in a construction‑related field or a trade background.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in commercial construction.
• Willingness to commute to South Dublin and a valid driving licence.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with project management software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Interpretation of architectural and engineering drawings.
