Site Manager – Substation Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead substation works on a large‑scale industrial project in Mulhuddart, Dublin. The role is site‑based and responsible for day‑to‑day management, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site activities for substation works.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site.
• Monitor daily progress and report to the Project Manager.
• Control quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage site logistics, materials and deliveries.
• Resolve on‑site issues and keep programme targets on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on substation, electrical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV systems and substation construction (desirable).
• Background in electrical or civil engineering projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Strong focus on health & safety and quality.
• Ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines.
