Spa Receptionist – Full‑time at Luxury Hotel in Galway

About the role

The Hawthorn by Galway Bay, a new luxury hotel opening on the Wild Atlantic Way, is looking for a full‑time Spa Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests visiting the world‑class wellness centre, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and seamless service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome spa guests with a courteous and attentive manner.
• Manage reservations, bookings and guest requests using the hotel’s reservation system.
• Assist guests in selecting appropriate wellness treatments and services.
• Coordinate with spa therapists and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reception, reservation management or guest‑welcome roles within hospitality.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, with knowledge of Forbes and LHW standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong time‑management, proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Team‑player who can thrive in a dynamic, luxury‑service environment.

Required skills
