Staff Nurse / Care Coordinator – Part‑time (21h/week)

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Staff Nurse/Care Coordinator to join our Shankill team on a permanent part‑time basis (21 hours per week). The role combines clinical nursing responsibilities with leadership of frontline support staff, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise frontline care support teams.
• Oversee delivery of clinical care and ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain respectful, equality‑based relationships with service users.
• Coordinate schedules, rostering and employee management systems.
• Deliver training to staff at all levels and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Resident of Ireland with legal right to work.
• Nursing qualification; registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (RNID, RND or RPN) is an advantage.
• Proven line‑management or supervisory experience in disability or social services.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an Employee Management System and rostering tools.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System.
