Team Manager - Home Energy

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Team Manager to lead a group of 15+ electricians responsible for installing and servicing electric smart meters and EV chargers. You will ensure high standards of health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of electrical and non‑electrical service engineers, overseeing daily activities and performance.
• Maintain customer service excellence and ensure client SLA commitments are met.
• Facilitate communication between back‑office and field engineers.
• Conduct health and safety audits and monthly equipment checks.
• Resolve customer issues promptly in line with SLA targets.
• Provide daily/weekly reports to the Head of Operations.
• Identify training needs through on‑site visits and audits.
• Keep the service database accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Manage field capacity to meet client forecasts and revenue targets.
• Work weekends and be on‑call as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified electrician with at least 2 years of management experience.
• Valid Verification & Certification qualification (QC number); Safe Pass is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of domestic electrical experience.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to contribute technical knowledge to proposals and reports.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering KPIs and managing large teams.
• Innovative, solution‑oriented and proactive.
