Trainee Manager – Cork Rd, Waterford

About the role

Supermac’s is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Manager to join its Cork Rd restaurant in Waterford. This position offers a pathway to full managerial responsibility within a well‑known fast‑food brand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales and service targets.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members on a daily basis.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and customer service.
• Deliver hands‑on training covering all operational areas.
• Coordinate in‑store promotions and sales initiatives.
• Support the Store Manager with employee relations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in the food industry.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Energetic, motivating and fully customer‑focused.
• Flexible to work a mix of days, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).
