Area Manager – Carlow / Portlaoise Region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced retail leader to manage a portfolio of stores across the Carlow and Portlaoise region. The Area Manager will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and operational excellence while developing high‑performing store teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers across the assigned area.
• Drive sales performance, profitability and operational standards in multiple locations.
• Build and maintain a motivated, high‑performing team culture.
• Analyse performance data, identify opportunities and implement improvement plans.
• Monitor KPIs and support stores in achieving business objectives.
• Oversee stock management and operational efficiencies.
• Support store openings, refurbishments and key business projects.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of management experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on achieving results.
• Experience managing multiple locations is an advantage.
• Full driving licence.
