Assistant Project Manager – Residential, Commercial & Heritage

About the role

We are supporting a leading Irish main contractor that delivers high‑quality residential, commercial and heritage projects across Dublin and the wider region. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate project activities, manage documentation and help drive project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with programme tracking, progress reporting and coordination of daily activities.
• Manage technical documentation such as RFIs, submittals, design queries and compliance records.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely information flow.
• Assist with quality control inspections and ensure work aligns with project specifications.
• Contribute to project planning, sequencing and monitoring of key milestones.
• Support health & safety, site logistics and general project administration.
• Maintain project records, trackers and communication logs.

Required profile

• Background in design coordination, technical submittals, construction planning or site engineering.
• Experience as a Design Coordinator, Construction Planner, Site Engineer, Junior APM or Project Coordinator.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
