Clinical Nurse Manager II

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead nursing services for children and young people (0‑18 years) with complex disabilities. The role operates within an interdisciplinary framework, delivering family‑centred care across clinics, schools, homes and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, intervention and clinical supervision for young people with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain a family‑centred service model across multiple settings.
• Lead service development initiatives and ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care plans and oversee administrative functions.
• Collaborate with external partners, including preschools and community organisations.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) in the appropriate division.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑registration experience, including at least 2 years in a related specialty.
• Demonstrated clinical, managerial and administrative competence.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and annual registration maintenance.

• Permanent full‑time position (37.5 hours/week) with a salary range €58,245‑€69,260 pro rata per annum.
