Contracts Manager – €30m Education Portfolio

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of two €15 million school extensions in Rathcoole and Leopardstown, Dublin. The role will oversee the €30 million education portfolio from mobilisation in September 2026 through to completion, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction in live school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for both projects, directing Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain programme certainty, monitor progress against milestones and drive on‑time delivery.
• Control commercial performance: manage budgets, forecasts, risk registers and financial reporting.
• Review procurement strategies, appoint subcontractors and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Champion health and safety, conduct regular site audits and ensure statutory compliance.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, consultants, design teams and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, enforce quality assurance and allocate resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction contracts, preferably in the education sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑site teams and deliver projects within budget and programme constraints.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
