Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

Teleperformance Ltd is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide first‑line technical assistance to its employees across the UK. You will work both on‑site and remotely, handling hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, VDI environments and mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve Windows desktop, laptop, VDI and mobile device faults reported by end users.
• Deploy software updates and new applications across the corporate estate.
• Manage tickets, prioritize workload and ensure timely closure of incidents.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.
• Support networking connectivity and assist with security audit compliance.
• Provide hands‑on assistance to other IT teams and travel to other UK sites when required.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and strong customer‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies in a fast‑evolving IT environment.
• Occasional travel to other Teleperformance locations within the UK.

Required skills

• Windows operating system support.
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience.
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Software deployment and update management.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Understanding of security audit and compliance processes.
