Director – Energy Sector (Ireland)

About the role

SYSTRA is seeking a Director to lead its Energy business in Ireland. The role will drive business growth, win high‑value contracts and ensure successful delivery of large‑scale energy projects, while fostering technical excellence across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities, leading bid and proposal processes for contracts above £400k/€400k.
• Manage high‑value projects/packages, ensuring they meet client objectives, budgets, timelines and contractual requirements.
• Oversee a significant portfolio of work, providing financial and delivery accountability.
• Provide technical leadership, sharing expertise internally and representing SYSTRA at industry events.
• Develop and mentor colleagues to enhance the breadth, quality and flexibility of services offered to clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal structures, processes and service offerings.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the Energy sector, preferably within infrastructure or construction.
• Track record of winning and delivering projects valued over £400k/€400k.
• Strong business development and commercial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams across multiple locations.
