Director of Construction – Lead Landmark Projects in Dublin & Leinster

About the role

The client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor in Ireland, delivering high‑value, technically complex projects across data‑centres, life sciences, healthcare, education and social infrastructure. They are seeking a Director of Construction to steer the delivery of multiple landmark projects throughout Dublin and the wider Leinster region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of several high‑value construction programmes, each regularly exceeding €100 million.
• Provide strategic direction to project and site management teams, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Drive operational efficiency and embed best‑practice delivery methodologies across all sites.
• Strengthen client relationships and contribute to business growth initiatives.
• Support team development and help shape the organisation’s long‑term succession strategy.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering projects within a Tier 1 or leading main‑contracting environment.
• Minimum five years’ experience at senior levels such as Project Manager, Contracts Manager or equivalent.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid contractual and financial awareness.
• Ambitious, strategic mindset and a desire to progress into executive leadership.
