Electrical Project Engineer (Kilkenny)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a fast‑growing electrical contractor supporting a mix of multinational and public‑sector clients across Ireland. The role combines office‑based planning with on‑site supervision, ideal for a qualified electrician who wants to progress into project management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing client submissions, gather supplier input and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Generate contract programmes, monitor progress and schedule resources.
• Prepare risk assessments and implement quality‑control procedures.
• Provide site supervision and coordinate field activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an industrial electrician or electrical project engineer.
• Trade‑qualified electrician in Ireland.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to commute to the Kilkenny office 2‑3 days per week.
