Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead health, safety and environmental compliance on a major data‑centre construction project in Dublin. Reporting to the EHS Lead, you will ensure all works meet statutory requirements and best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project compliance with Safety Management Systems and Irish/EU legislation.
• Develop and maintain construction‑stage Health & Safety Plans.
• Prepare and analyse health & safety performance reports for management.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Coordinate EHS inductions and training programmes for all site personnel.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
• Lead or assist in incident and accident investigations and ensure timely reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing EHS on large‑scale construction projects (data‑centre experience highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge of current Irish and EU health & safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams and subcontractors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with EHS reporting systems.
