Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will support safe working practices across our project sites in the Blanchardstown area. You will be responsible for monitoring safety performance, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Report on safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and recommend improvements.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Support delivery of HSE processes, procedures, standards, and systems.
• Perform weekly inspections and audits, reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Promote awareness of health‑related risks and deliver on‑site training.
• Implement the company’s accident reporting procedure.
• Communicate and apply changes in legislation and safety practices across the organization and its supply chain.
• Maintain quality and environmental control procedures in line with the Integrated Management System.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Health & Safety (Level 7/8).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant H&S experience.
• Experience in pharma, heavily regulated construction, or engineering environments.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Full, clean Irish driver’s licence.
