Experienced Receptionist – Front Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our Front Office team and help create memorable guest experiences that set Neville Hotels apart. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check‑in and check‑out, and providing a professional, courteous service at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and anticipate their needs.
• Perform all check‑in, check‑out and cash handling procedures.
• Manage online and phone reservations when required.
• Answer and direct calls through the switchboard to the agreed standard.
• Represent Neville Hotels professionally and act on guest requests promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations, rooms, amenities and services.
• Contribute to maximizing bedroom sales and revenue control.
• Ensure security procedures for guests' belongings are followed.
• Keep the front desk and back‑office areas clean.

Required profile

• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum one year of hotel front‑office experience.
• Flexible attitude to working days and shift patterns.

Required skills

• Cash handling.
• Managing online and telephone reservations.
• Operating a switchboard and directing calls.
• Knowledge of hotel rooms, amenities and services.
