Food & Beverage Banqueting Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Banqueting Supervisor to join the Tower Hotel in Waterford. In this role you will oversee daily service and event operations, supporting the management team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the food & beverage and banqueting teams during service and events.
• Ensure high standards of service, presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen and events teams to guarantee smooth set‑up, service and close‑down of events.
• Communicate effectively with guests, clients and staff, handling any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a busy food & beverage or banqueting environment.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and lead a team.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage service procedures, including wine and beverage service.
• Experience in banqueting operations, from set‑up to close‑down.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
