About the role
Join the Front of House team at the exclusive 5‑star Lyrath Estate Hotel as a Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering five‑star service across a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently while handling arrivals, departures and special requests.
- Provide guest services such as wake‑up calls, newspaper delivery and local information.
- Manage cash, charge, float and till procedures in line with company policy.
- Upsell hotel amenities and promotions to maximise sales.
- Process enquiries, bookings and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Allocate rooms for next‑day arrivals and maintain full knowledge of room types and locations.
Required profile
- Strong command of the English language.
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Hotsoft is a plus.
- Excellent customer‑service attitude and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work flexible hours (including weekends and bank holidays) and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.

- Hotsoft (hotel management software) knowledge
