About the role

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer to join a leading financial technology organisation in Dublin. The role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite per week, and offers the chance to work on enterprise‑scale applications while driving reliability, performance, and cloud innovation.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based backend services and front‑end applications.
Improve system reliability and performance across distributed environments.
Implement and evolve cloud‑native solutions using platforms such as Cloud Foundry or AWS.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.

Required profile

5–8 years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in Java enterprise technologies and modern front‑end frameworks.
Proven ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.

Required skills

Java JDK 8, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Security
Maven, Hibernate/JPA, REST, JSON, SOAP
SQL Server (or similar relational DB), SQL, multi‑threading, message queuing, distributed systems
Design patterns, JUnit (or other unit‑testing frameworks)
Splunk or comparable monitoring tools
Git, Jenkins
Cloud Foundry, AWS (cloud‑native development)
React, Redux, TypeScript
